BG44k PLATINUM New

I've used diesel products before to flush out before an old change, so I knew this would be a good product. I had a fault code come up about reduced performance on about four cylinders out of eight. Instead of throwing one at parts, someone suggested this and then an "Italian tune-up." It worked a treat!

Use this cleaner every 4 months on my V6 super charged engine and I have yet to have a problem. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic works a treat easy of use value for money

I have used their BG 245 diesel cleaner before and I could feel the difference in the responsiveness on my insignia diesel within 30 min it was quite a dramatic difference you could feel it responding quicker, pulling more and you could hear a improvement in the sound of the exhaust, So when I recently bought a second hand petrol sports car one of the first things I did was to order some BG 44k Platinum (along with servicing it) and all tho the results were not as immediately noticeable as the diesel cleaner was for me (I think the insignia really needed it) It did feel and sound much smoother after getting through half a tank of it.I would highly recommend using this if you fail a MOT due to high emissions or before an MOT if your emissions were high on your previous MOT.The instructions say to mix this with a full tank of petrol but I found better results when using with slightly over half a tank (I don't know if this is risky or not.. but it has worked well for me on both petrol and diesel variants).Make sure you have a funnel ready because you will need one unless you want to start cutting bottles in half.I would advise using rubber/latex gloves when using this as it has a tenancy to splash when opening and if you read the health warnings on the back you will know you don't want to get this anywhere on you!, Loosen the ring pull first with a flat head screwdriver or swiss army knife as it is gripped down with metal spots, And I know this sounds extra but I would recommend using safety glasses, god knows what this stuff would do to your eyes! honestly its strong and very hazardous I feel bad for the cars behind me..

Add the liquid to your vehicle and fill your fuel tank to the top. I added the BG 44K around halfway through the week, I noticed a power boost right away ( as you often do with fuel system cleaners ) I did my usual 16 miles per day, on the Saturday I had to take a 160 mile round trip on mainly motorways and A roads which gave the cleaner a good chance to blast through the injectors and pipework. Once the liquid is out of your fuel system, you will notice a slight drop in performance, but it will still be better than before the treatment was added ( especially if you use E10 petrol ). Be sure to not let your fuel levels to get too low before refilling ( or you may punp some of the removed gunk at the bottom of the tank through your system again ) I will be using BG 44K at least once a year, it is by far the best fuel system cleaner that I have used to date!

Had a faulty injector in my 318i for some time and car getting practically unusable.Heard lot of negatives about engine treatments and Redex sure didn't help.Saw a few YouTube vids with this stuff being compared and gave it a go.Used an unsuitable funnel, poured too fast and watched it run down side of car - thought I may have lost almost all of it, so didn't add more fuel to the roughly 25l in the tank.Within 10 mins I could feel the difference and have been slowly pushing it harder without issue and can accelerate up hills again faster than snails pace. Have still experienced some misfire when accelerating a bit too hard in low gear but it is massively improved and almost enjoyable to drive again.
