Okay, there are a LOT of components to explain here. This set includes 18 drawing pencils (ranging from 4H to 14B), 4 charcoal pencils (3 black pencils, from hard to soft, and a medium white pencil), 3 paper blending stumps, 2 woodless pencils (4B and 6B), a hobby knife, 3 types of erasers (pencil, block, and kneaded), and a metal sharpener. Each has its own functions and abilities for the beginner. The pencils are great for sketching and practicing cartoons and other art styles. The charcoal pencils can be good for rough sketching. The blending stumps can be used to smooth out and blend the pencils. The erasers... well, erase. The hobby knife is very useful for cutting things very precisely. This set is good. Awesome Value, Great quality. I got it as a gift when I started drawing. I kept finding in this set, the right tools to progress as a sketcher. The Kneaded Eraser came too dry, but I got it during the Canadian winter who knows what type of adventures the thing had to endure before it made it to my doorstep.

It's 19cm long, 23cm wide and a depth of 2cm. A brilliant size for such a large set, taking up minimal space.Within the tin is the 33 piece set. These are all really nicely arranged. Each individual piece has its own place. Slotting in and staying nicely, on a red plastic tray. On the top layer, there are 12 pieces in one removable section. 7 pieces on the next and the layer below has, 14 pieces. This really looks great, nicely laid out.
