These are a replacement for older ones I wore out. These are better.
These are heavy and accurate. I am so happy I found these years ago and over many years of use my old ones gave out but this replacement is better. Very nice.

Very impressed. All metal caliper. No plastic housings.
These Digital Calipers came very well packaged and well protected. I was very happy to see that the entire tool is made of metal. No plastic parts or housings. The weight is more than Iâm used to with digital calipers but it is a welcome feel. They fit my hand very well and all the buttons are easy to reach and read. I love the fact that these will read out, in your choice of, metric (mm), decimal or fractional. Iâve never owned a set of calipers with a fraction reading. Iâm really looking forward to that. The finish is a high gloss black on the metal body. Lpthevrest appears to be stainless steel. It slides effortlessly with the thumb wheel and easily locks in place with the light twist of the lock set. Very nice tool. I highly recommend it

High build quality
I just received these and haven't put them to much use yet but did measure them against an A rated gauge block and it was spot on. The thumb wheel movement is smooth and allows for micro adjustment. The body is stainless steel and well ground. For quick measurements to .001 these are great. However the most useful feature for me is the ability to switch between inch, MM and imperial fraction, as a woodworker this comes in very handy. Overall very high quality for the money.

Works great but missing spare battery
Haven't used it much yet, as I just received it. Leaving this 4-star review because it didn't come with the spare battery as advertised on the package.

Comparable to expensive measuring tools.
More dependable than the multiples I have. This one is very precise and works as it should. It is worth the several extra dollars when compared to the poor quality of others in retail storesfound locally.

outstanding quality
Had several calipers over the years and they weren't anywhere close to the quality of this heavy stainless steel unit, easy to open and close with precise movement, even the battery cover heavy and set in place with a set screw. I also love the 3 modes of units, really like the fraction display. My prior one I bought at a woodcrafting store and was told it was quality but when i went to actually use it one of the plastic operating buttons had fell out and the unit would no longer power on. I also love that it comes with a hard case as these are somewhat delicate and need some level of protection to ensure they remain accurate. In fairness, I used this one once to measure something the day I received it but can spot quality when I see it.

I have used many different calipers.
I have used expensive and cheap. This caliper is by far the best for the money in the middle class. One review mentioned that the caliper when turned off loses its place that is and is not true. Yes the screen goes off and if you turn it back on without moving it, it will be at zero. This is not a defect it is made this way so the battery does not go dead in the drawer when it is "turned off" and still maintaining its zero or whatever it gets bumped to. I don't know how much he likes paying for dead batteries but don't like it at all. Another wrote about the scale showing the last two digits in half size changing the accuracy of the scale it in no way changes the accuracy it is still accurate to +/- 5 ten thousandths of an inch. If you know how to use a caliper you can bring that down pretty close to 2.5 ten thousandths. Now if you are or think you are a nuclear engineer maybe you need more accuracy that that. If so buy a $300 to $500 or more caliper and be happy. I am not building man carrying rockets etc. you get the point I fabricate things I need in metal and do woodworking so 64ths and .0005 is fine with me.
