U.S. Army Reconnaissance and Surveillance Handbook (US Army Survival) Paperback – Illustrated, November 6, 2013

I'm a civvie that's been thinking about going into the mil for quite some time. I have a bunch of friends that have served and I got this book so I could understand more of what they're talking about. It's nice to have this. I'm thinking about sharing this with them to see what they think about it.

Easy to digestinformation. Covers 32 chapters of information to make doing an Area Study or setting up an OP/LP a much easier proposition.

A bit outdated but provides a great outline for recon work

This is a good book if you are the officer in S2, but not if you are in a recon platoon looking for tactics and training material.
