Worked first time!
Lost the old power supply, found this one, and after making sure it was the correct one, bought it. Plugged right ina,nd the monitor took off with no issues.

Got super hot and monitor started turning off
The unit worked fine for a couple of days, and then the monitor started turning off and back on every few minutes. The power supply got very hot and I suspect it has some type of heat sensor that turns it off. There is a sticker on the unit that says the unit will get hot but it should not be that hot where you can't even touch it, that's a fire hazard. Promptly returned.

OEM LG Monitor Power Cord
I had mounted a monitor on the wall and the cord that came with it was not long enough to reach the outlet. This cord was longer than the supplied cord and worked very well, up until my monitor died. This was a nice cord that was compatible with my LG monitor. The fact that it was a bit longer and costed a whole lot less than the genuine LG cord was the main selling points for me.
