5 stars! You cannot beat the performance of this light for the price and size. The only thing that would make it better is an adjustable beam in order to focus it more but it’s really not necessary unless you’re trying to look at something beyond 30 feet. I use this compact light to inspect a 767 aircraft and it’s got plenty of light to see the top of the tail which is over 50 feet from the ground. This is the only time I wish I could focus the beam a bit but it works. I’ve been using this flashlight for a year and a half with zero issues. I love it! It’s small and powerful.

What can I say about my Wuben''s that I haven't already said? You can't go wrong with the Wuben lights. This is one of many that I have purchased for my personal use, and for gifts. People that received these from me agree that they are the best torches that they have every used.

I love this light for being small but powerful. I like that it has three light settings. I always have it in my pocket and bought a spare to charge while using the other one.

The knurling needs to be cut deeper to get a better grip on the light. Tail cap is slick removing it and such, along with main body. There should be a momentary high only mode when partially holding down the tail cap. There is no mode at all when doing this. Battery capacity is 2600mAH. Not ideal when 3100-3500 mah are super common. The Pros are dual springs which helps with impact resistance. Threads were smooth but dry on mine which is common on lights. I added silicone grease to the threads and rear O-Ring and it’s very smooth now and good to protect the O-Ring. They do include a spare along with charge cable which is nice. An Anker Prime bank shows about 5.1 watts of charge speed through the onboard UBS C. I plan to use a stand alone charger (Nitecore USM) when possible. The cap threads on nicely with the battery installed, no excessive pressure to fight the spring while threading the cap, unlike the Nitecore 20ix and Streamlight HL6. Overall. 4/5 I’d buy again as of this initial impression. A good alternative in a side switch light with magnetic base and extremely good user interface is the Thrunite T1Pro. Way better knurling, deep carry, brighter, and 1/2” shorter.

Well worth the money. I bought one of these about 7 years ago, I use it every day at work and around the house and I have never had a problem with it. If it has a charge, it will work and not let you down. I have dropped it from over 40 feet and it just scratched the paint. I’ve dropped it in a pool of hydraulic fluid and it still worked as if it was brand new. I cannot say enough good things about this cheap little flashlight. I will be a lifelong customer

I have to confess- I have a lot of flashlights. Ironically I'm very much not afraid of the dark and will annoy my wife walking around the house without turning lights on sometimes, but while I don't mind the dark when I want to be able to see something in the dark I don't want to be squinting at it and don't want to be hunting for a flashlight forever.It was because of this that I first encountered Wuben's flashlights- a good while ago I backed their Kickstarter for the Knight X-0 flashlight which has been one of my EDC flashlights ever since I got it, and I've since picked up a G-2 keychain flashlight and just received the Kickstarter E-1 MagSafe light. So when I saw that there was a 20% off code for the C3, I figured I wouldn't be disappointed- and I was right.The C3 is a modest bit bigger than what I usually carry around, which is fine- it's still small enough that you can carry it in a pocket fairly easily, but it's large enough that I wouldn't want to carry it all the time under normal circumstances. That extra size though is worth it, since it is BRIGHT. When I first got it, I tested it compared to my X-0 and initially thought that it wasn't much brighter- but when I took them outside and tested them in the dark, the C3 definitely puts out a lot more light.The C3 has a relatively focussed lens- it isn't adjustable, but with the power that the LED has it works well without needing the adjustable focus. One slight thing that I don't like about my X-0 is that if I run the battery down, I'm not going to be able to use it until I recharge it and I was thinking this would be the case with the C3. However, while it is rechargeable, it is quite easy to swap in a fresh battery (assuming you've picked one up and have charged it). It would have been nice to have been able to use standard AA (or AAA) batteries at the cost of brightness in a pinch, but that's definitely a very minor gripe. Not that I expect to be needing to worry about it- with the 2600mAh battery I don't imagine that I'm going to need to recharge it anytime soon, and 18650 batteries aren't too expensive if you do want spares.Like most flashlights these days, it has several different modes you can swap between with the switch- there are 4 brightness levels and a strobe function. It remembers what brightness you last used as well, which is nice. It is a pity it doesn't have a shortcut to the brightest mode like the X-0 does though, but it only takes a second to cycle through the power levels to get to it.

Bright flashlight! Has lasted a very long time between charges. I've definitely dropped several times. The multi click button for brightness very easy to understand. Only issue is the battery gets stuck and you have to take it out and then put it back in for the flashlight to work again.
