Leaves of Grass: The Complete Deathbed Edition

We love poetry and wanted this specific work for a long time. I got it as a Christmas present for my husband and he was delighted with this specific edition. I was looking for this specific edition for a while with no success and was very happy to buy it here. The price is not bad considering it was hard to find .

Favorite writings. Nice book. Contains all the favorites and more. Came very fast and in good shape.

Sacred text, not much more to say about the book.1librarylady is the best seller--wish I could go to her for all of my book purchases, she went out of her way to get me a fine copy which I needed for a gift.

The first several pages were stuck together and torn at the edges. It’s a bummer, but not worth going through the trouble of sending it back.

I am aware that this edition is making someone money from something in the public domain, so I want to be clear that I am reviewing Whitman, not the edition, although it was presentable.

It’s what I wanted.

The range and scope of Whitman 's poetry is breathtaking. I am happy to place it alongside my other treasured volumes of American poetry

No clear publication details inside the book - this makes it impossible to use for an essay as full details are not there to complete the bibliography.

OJO CON LAS MEDIDAS. Si esperas comprar un libro de tamaño "normal", este no es. Las medidas que se indican están en centímetros, es del tamaño de un celular.Pongo esta advertencia en mayúsculas, pero eso no desmerita lo demás: las hojas son delgadas y delicadas, pero la impresión es clara. Tiene un índice de títulos y otro de las primeras líneas de algunos poemas, ambos útiles.El término "de bolsillo" no podría aplicar más por su tamaño práctico para cargarlo en una excursión y leerse en la cima de una cálida montaña de aires frescos.

Muy bonita presentación, pero más pequeño de lo que esperaba.
