Amazing toy
I bought this LCD writing tablet for my toddler, and it’s been such a great purchase! It’s lightweight, easy to use, and mess-free — no paper, no crayons to pick up, and no worrying about walls being drawn on. My child loves doodling on it, and I love that it’s reusable with just the press of a button. The screen is bright and clear, and the stylus is the perfect size for little hands. It’s been a lifesaver during car rides, waiting rooms, and quiet playtime at home. Plus, it’s durable enough to handle the occasional drop or rough use.Highly recommend this for any parent looking for a fun, screen-free activity that keeps their little one entertained and creative!

Best bang for your buck
I absolutely love this drawing board. I got the 16inch for my 6yo who loves to draw., it’s the perfect size. The price wasn’t too bad either. It keeps her engaged and her creativity flowing. This has been her go to every time she wants to draw. I can’t wait to order more and give them as gifts. Functionality it’s great, It’s perfect for road trips as well.

Fun and Mess-Free Drawing Tablet for Kids
I picked up the Kokodi LCD Writing Tablet for my child, and it has been a great addition to our creative playtime. It’s a simple yet effective way to let kids doodle, write, and practice letters without wasting paper.1. Lightweight and PortableSlim and Easy to Carry: The tablet is super lightweight and thin, making it great for road trips, restaurants, or keeping kids entertained on the go.No Mess: Unlike markers or crayons, there’s no ink, no smudging, and no paper waste, which is a huge plus for parents.2. Easy to Use and EraseThe screen is pressure-sensitive, so kids can draw with the included stylus or even their fingernails.One-Click Erase: Pressing the erase button clears the screen instantly, making it easy for kids to start fresh.Screen Lock Feature: There’s a lock button to prevent accidental erasing, which is useful if your child wants to keep their masterpiece for a while.3. Bright and Colorful DisplayThe lines appear in multi-color strokes, making drawings more fun and visually appealing compared to basic monochrome LCD tablets. It’s not backlit, so it works best in well-lit environments, but it’s still easy to see.4. Durable and Kid-FriendlyThe plastic frame is sturdy and can handle some drops and rough handling without breaking. The stylus attaches securely, so it doesn’t get lost easily.5. Things to ConsiderNot Rechargeable: Runs on a button battery (which lasts a long time), but some parents might prefer a rechargeable option.Erase Button Sensitivity: Some users report that the erase button might stop working after a while—so handle with care.Screen Contrast: The brightness of the strokes depends on lighting and pressure, and it’s not as vivid as a tablet with a digital screen.Final Verdict:The Kokodi LCD Writing Tablet is a fantastic screen-free alternative for kids who love to draw and write. It’s mess-free, reusable, and great for on-the-go fun. While the erase function and screen contrast could be improved, it’s still a great budget-friendly option for keeping little ones entertained.⭐ Rating: 4/5 – Simple, fun, and practical, but could use better screen contrast.

Great fun for kids and adults
This is a great pad. We bring it to swim meets for the kids and its great fun between races. Great value for the money. And we should add that the customer support was outstanding, very rapid on a question we had. The kids (and adults) have a lot of fun with this.

Not a MagnaDoodle substitute
On paper, you’d think this would happily (and inexpensively!) replace the Magna Doodle. But in practice, it does not. Shucks. This may differ from device to device, but in our case, the colors underneath the black screen are mostly a deep blue, making for dim, frustratingly low-contrast doodling. I mean, truly weirdly hard to see. I’m reminded of old handheld games that didn’t have backlit screens and that you could only play in well-lit areas - but not too well-lit, or then they suffer glare - not unlike this tablet. The matte screen is durable and scratch resistant, but not immune to a diffuse foggy glare if you’re using it in too bright a light.Granted, the MagnaDoodle is not backlit either, but its biggest advantage over this LCD display is simple and intuitive. Drawing in black on a white background simply feels more like real doodling, and is easier to see even in low light. Also, your kids’ mileage may vary on this, but mine get more fun out of the classic swipe eraser on the Magna Doodle than they do the one-click erase button on this toy. Nifty as the latter may be, it gives the kid less to “do” with their toy.The little tablet is otherwise slick, surprisingly well-made, and at such a low price point hard not to recommend. Excellent A+ travel toy. Perfect, too, if you just need to give a kid a 5-minute diversion. Also, different enough from a Magna Doodle, and inexpensive enough, to merit owning both - especially if you have an artsy kid (or parent).
