Works like a dream
needed to buy this for Christmas due to the number of people coming for dinner and not having room in the oven to warm the plates, this was perfect and the plates were lovely & warm.

Really useful!
Should have got one of these ages ago. Very useful for heating plates without taking up lots of space in the oven. Also easy to store when not in use. Instructions were almost non-existent. Not that they were really needed anyway but would have been nice to have some more information.

Works well
We needed it for fourteen plates but could only maximise at 12. But it did exactly as required and heated up the plates and kept them warm. Don’t leave them for too long or they become too hot too touch.

Plate Warmers
Bought these for Christmas as we had a fair few family guests. I must admit to being a little sceptical about their prowess. They were fantastic. Such a simple concept and the plates kept warm for some time. A full load of plates takes around 20 minutes to warm up. Our plates were substantial pottery, I guess proper China plates would take possibly around 15 minutes. Exceptional purchase.

Such a practical and yet, simple idea
Needed plate warmers for when family recently came to visit. Instead of just putting pottery in the oven, when the space was required for cooking, found this idea of fabric plate warmer on Amazon. Rather like a 'small sized electric blanket' that you place pottery into and then folds over the plates etc, thus warming them. It seems such a relatively 'simple' idea, but works really well. We placed a ceramic kitchen tablet under the mat warmer just in case the heat may affect the actual kitchen work top surface, but not sure how effective this was. Worked perfectly for us, and this item is certainly one we would recommened, as it frees up oven space for cooking, and assume cheaper with the electric than using the oven for plate warming.

Great when it was working. It is now as dead as a dodo
Updating my review as the plate warmer stopped working. We replaced the fuse in the plug but still nothing. It was working really well… while working!
