ACC Winter Cat House & Cat Scratcher w/ Bonus Catnip included

When I saw the parts of this box used to construct it, my first thought was, what if the cats tore this apart and swallowed the little plastic snaps? I snapped one part together, looked up, and my adult cat had one of the small snaps in his mouth and was chewing on it! There are other scratcher boxes made with no small plastic pieces, so this is NOT necessary. Yet another cat scratcher box from Amazon that I cannot use. I'm starting to get angry. Is there no quality control for safety at Amazon? We'll see if this gets posted! My last review of a horrible toxic smelling cat scratcher box was not posted.

Easy to assemble if your cat isn’t sitting on it while you’re working. Sturdy for a cheap cardboard box. My only issue is I didn’t think my box biter would get it but he did. He’s been laying on his back biting the house. They each took turns sitting in it and there’s not much room inside for scraping that insert but they don’t care. It will be cute for a while. My fat Tortie can even fit- she’s very wide and my friends dog thinks she is a raccoon :)

I have two little demons, Spencer and Tuesday. I bought them this for their birthday, as they are obsessed with cardboard scratchers and I love Halloween. They've been scratching at it almost non-stop for almost a week but they've barely made a dent- the only issue is my one cat has began eating the cardboard of the actual house, but that's more of a her problem than anything with this.

My daughter has been asking to decorate our house for Halloween. We needed a new cat scratcher. This solved both problems. It was pretty simple to put together. My 5 year old had fun helping then promptly decorated it with Halloween stickers. The catnip that comes with it isn't very potent, but a small child's handful of the other catnip we have was enough to entice one of our cats inside. He loved hiding inside and scratching it!

First things first, my cat's love this. I have bought several different cardboard cat houses over the last few years. I got this one because it was so cute and I really wanted a Halloween themed house for my kitties. My only complaint is that this one requires plastic screws (provided) to assemble it, and it's a teeny bit challenging to screw it all together. All the other cardboard houses I've bought used double sided tape or interlocking flaps to assemble and they were much easier. But clearly I got it put together since I have included pics of my cats enjoying it. :)

My cats are OBSESSED with these houses! Spacious for large cats and very sturdy!! Buying more since my cats can't get enough of the first one!

My cat loves this house! He sleeps in it every day. He loves if I put some catnip inside. He does chew the walls and floor a little bit, but it’s all safe and it is his house after all. He’s a pretty big tomcat but fits inside just fine. And as a bonus it’s a cute Halloween decoration. I highly recommend this for your kitty cat family members. :)

I may love this more than my cats do but they love to go in and scratch and lounge. Just beware I ordered the Gingerbread house too and they both came just saran wrapped in plastic and the GB house was damaged. Amazon did replace it but they still shipped the same way after complaining of the damage. They are super cute though. My kids get such a kick out of them too.
