Fantastic Dock with plenty of I/O, great design and built to last.
I've used OWC products for several years and recently bought this to pair with my new MacBook Air M2. It doesn't disappoint, the speeds are excellent and there are plenty of options on offer to connect peripherals. The device itself is very well built and matches the general design of Apple products. Highly recommended.

Great deal!
I upgraded to this unit and the quality gap is enormous compared to commercial units. Very good product I recommend to everyone.

Finally a dock that works perfectly with my M1 Macbook Pro!
This is the third dock I have tried. Initially I went for a budget USB-C dock which constantly affected my MBP's wifi (google it!) and even the Bluetooth connection to my Magic Keyboard. If you have an M1 mac avoid USB-C docks. Then I tried a Thiunderbolt 3 dock - a Wavlink UDT21 which completely failed to detect any extrenal displays. Finally, after returning both previous attempts I went for this OWC dock which was the one I always wanted but i was trying to save money. It works perfectly and the build quality is on another level entirely. What do they say? - You get what you pay for. I can't recommend this enough - especially if you have an M1 Mac.

EU plug so no use in UK/probably good kit
It has a special power delivery system (with a large adaptor) so not possible to substitute even if you have one — and who wants to use an unreliable adaptor on a product like this. The spec looked good. It is quite a big unit for a dock but not really for all the function and it looks smart and robust. But I had to call Amazon tech to arrange replacement or refund.Value for money is based on mixing "no value" with "maybe/probably good if you have the right plug". Amazon's was the cheapest in the marketplace and this looks like a good bit of kit.My tech support was for Amazon who wanted to arrange a replacement. It took over 12 minutes while I was hanging on to be transferred to the replacement team. They would have replaced it but since there was no guarantee that the same would not happen again I returned it. They were understanding and happy to refund. That took a couple of minutes including arranging a collection at no charge. So while I would have liked it a bit quicker that's not bad. Amazon's willingness to accept returns is a big reason why I use them.

Wrong Plug - Otherwise Good
Arrived with an EU or US adapter (I'm in the UK). Contacted OWC who said I could buy the correct one! Mentioned its a requirement in the UK to come with the correct plug....but they didn't seem bothered. Amazon were though and refunded the amount for a new adapter. Thanks AmazonAs mentioned in another review, there is a note to remove the protective coverings and the top one is really stuck down - such that it seems part of the unit and there is no actual covering. After a month it looked a bit scrappy (scratches and marks) and then I discovered a corner had peeled away - pulled the rest off and now looks greatAll working as it should - cable to the Mac is short - but that works for me (they are close together and I wouldn't want cables trailing). A good thing about that cable is that it's replaceable. I also have a Surface dock where the connecting cable is integrated - cable is now damaged and I can't replace it. In this unit you canNo problems stopping working when the mac is closed or any other issues

Perfect dock, shame about the cable
Although at the top end of the dock market in price, the tech reviews and YouTube videos about it where enough to convince me to invest. It’s happily powering my 2 displays, stream deck, ext HDD, iPad, headphones and iPhone and Watch charger. My only criticism is the painfully small thunderbolt 3 cable. I bought this so I could hide away the rats nest, but with a cable so short - it left me needing to order another!Seems trivial, but when you pay so much for a dock, you expect them to include a decent length cable.Asides from that, I’m happy with my purchase

perfect for what I needed with my MacBook Pro M1
Easy to set up and plug everything in, much better than my old Lenovo USB C hub!
