Great Starter Set for Toddlers – Must Include the Large Square Tiles
I was recently asked to purchase a PicassoTiles set for a 2-year-old's birthday and quickly found myself overwhelmed by the number of options available. After a lot of research and trial and error, I discovered a key detail that makes all the difference for first-time buyers—make sure the set includes the large 5.51" square tiles. These larger tiles are essential for young children, especially toddlers, as they provide a stable foundation to build upon. Smaller tiles are much harder for little hands to manipulate and stack effectively, often leading to frustration during play. Many of the available sets are designed to supplement a core collection, offering features like mini tiles, theme-based pieces (like castles), figures, or carrying cases. While these are great additions later on, they’re not ideal as a first purchase for toddlers. If you’re buying PicassoTiles for a young child, especially as their first set, I highly recommend starting with one that includes plenty of the large square tiles. It makes the building process much easier and far more enjoyable for little ones.

Good value for a good set of magnetic blocks
Very nice magnetic toys. Great for stacking and connecting together in a multitude of ways. When arranged properly, they do fit back into the box, and figuring that method is a nice game in itself. Various colors and shapes add to the versatility. Price is better than other magnetic blocks of the same style, and the quality seems just as good.Overall, my grade is an A

Versatile toy that’s fun for all ages!
These were a big hit with both the kids and parents at our recent party. We wanted something to keep the kids entertained while the adults socialized, and these were perfect. The magnets are strong enough to hold builds together but gentle enough for little hands to handle easily. The kids had a blast creating shapes, houses, and anything they could think of. I’d definitely recommend these as a fun and versatile toy!

The magnetic is perfect to build with the tiles.
I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter. She has a smaller set but just started to play with them. When I played with her I realized she needed more tiles so I bought this set with 100 pieces. She was so excited. This is her new toy that she plays with all the time. The magnetic is perfect for this age because they don’t fall down.

Great for independent play
These are honestly amazing! We now have 2 sets of these and 1 set of the race tracks. Because of the spring sale, I debated for a while on whether to purchase these classic tiles or more race tracks. I chose the classic Picasso tiles because 1) I feel they lend to more independent play than the race tracks; 2) the race track pieces tend to break under reckless little feet, and 3) it’s so much fun to construct bigger creations with our tiles now. I should mention these are compatible with the race tracks and marble tracks. My 3 year old loves to build giant towers and knock them down, hangars for his planes, garages for his trucks etc etc… just buy them, you will not regret it.
