loved doing this puzzle & it looks amazing

Let me start by saying that the quality of the puzzle and package is very good. It is printed on plywood and delivered in a net bag. It comes with glue that can be used to mount it when finished should you want to hang it on a wall. It also comes with a full sized picture of the finished puzzle which makes a good guide. I like a jigsaw puzzle that is a challenge but I will not buy another of these. It is cut into very small pieces and all of the pieces have nearly the same shape. Most of the pieces are a single color and given their size it is hard to see any patterns in the image. There is lettering on the back of each piece and this is often the best guide to putting pieces together. I bought this to build with my 12yo son. We both find it to frustrating to spend more than about an hour at a time working on it.Now that I have finished the puzzle I can finish my review. I still find it frustrating that all of the pieces are the same size, but if you separate out the pieces by the letter on the back and work on each section separately it is less so. You can also orient all of the pieces in a section (make them upright) which makes it even easier, but I can get over the feeling that I'm cheating when I do this. I added a picture. Hopefully the detail will show.

The pieces for this puzzle are tight fitting, sturdy, and come in a large mesh gift bag. There is also a large poster of the puzzle art included. I'm planning on buying all of their puzzles because this was a lot of fun to put together.

Pros: Nice artwork and once assembled, it's sturdy.Cons: 1) There were several broken and damaged pieces. I ordered a replacement puzzle hoping to find replacements for the broken pieces... The second puzzle had just as many broken pieces and the alignment of the picture on the pieces was off enough that making one good puzzle from the 2 kits was a fool's errand.2) Many of the pieces are cut almost exactly the same. It is easy to put them in the wrong location unless you flip them over and match the letters on the back.Bottom line: If you want an enjoyable jigsaw experience, don't buy this type of puzzle. If you like to work and you're willing to have a less than perfect picture as your reward, you may be ok with this.

This is a sturdy puzzle to enjoy putting together and if the right sealant is used, it will last a lifetime in a frame.

Spending to much time just to see at the end that I was missing about 20 to 30 pieces no fun at all

I got this item as a gift but it was so beautiful after I received it so I put it together and framed it.
