Medical Compression Stockings are worn to improve the conditions of varicose veins and to prevent further deterioration of this condition, such as blood clots, which can lead to a stroke or even death. When a manufacture of these medical aids uses a weave that is a deterrent but will actually cause harm to the skin of the leg, such as these did to my leg, I can only say they are the worst thing i have ever used. I have been wearing compression stockings for years and these are the first pair that had a weave that left me in extreme pain and where the weave cut into my skin and left me feeling like my legs were being caught and cut in a mesh trap. As one ages their skin becomes delicate and thin and when one makes an appliance to improve circulation they should always take this into consideration and this company should make sure something like this never happens again. Needless to say this all took place within an hour of wearing said stockings, but it took hours for the red stinging, cutting feeling to end the impression and the pain, on my skin. The fit was great, my body fat is normal but it was the weave and material that caused this reaction. It was a valuable, but painful lesson to learn exactly how the stockings are made, especially when bought on line. Thank You Amazon for refunding my money.

I tried to make this work. Since it is half the price of the JOBST brand I really wanted to give this a shot. The fabric is different- a larger weave over a smaller, finer one. At first I didn't think that it would be an issue but it was very itchy on the skin. The sizing was off too and it didn't fit as expected. While this would work for a more budget friendly option, it wouldn't be a very comfortable one.

Bought them for my wife who had a pair of “prescription “ stockings that wore out. She reports that this stocking is as good or better then the ones twice expensive.

I have to wear compression stockings due to a post surgical DVT but due to my knee brace most standard stockings cause problems behind the knee where straps and the normal knee compression socks meet can make life uncomfortable. So I ordered a pair of these to see if it would help with the discomfort. While the stocking under the brace is great; the other leg top band keeps rolling up making it uncomfortable. I rechecked the sizing and verified that I did order the correct size. While trying to smooth out the band I already managed to rip them. These weren’t a good buy for me.

Ok, I'm 44 years old. 6'3" and 280 lbs. I'm a delivery driver, and sit for long periods of time. I have DVT and a blood clot in my left leg. My calf,foot and ankle swell all the time and go numb. I've been dealing with this for a couple of years. I've lost count on the number of different compression socks I've tried. None of them really worked. Made my leg swell worse above the elastic cuff on them. Then I tried copper open toe leg sleeves and the fit was to loose, and did me no good. Decided to try these, and have gotten the results I've been wanting. My job is 10-13 hours a day. Driving and unloading a tractor trailer via up and down a ramp out of the trailer all day. I wear the compression sleeve all day long. The swelling is gone, the numbness is gone, and I have full mobility in my leg. The only con I can come up with is yes the elastic band on them in my mid thigh is uncomfortable at times, but not painful or anything. Slight adjustments to it throughout the day and it's good to go. It certainly doesn't slip down my leg and the uncomfortable part of that band is to be expected with a product like this, and is not enough of an issue to complain about. I sweat considerably in this sleeve, and have had no skin irritation at all. It takes a little practice to put it on, but gets easier and quicker each time. Bottom line I am more than pleased with this product, and it has literally changed my life. My left leg no longer swells and I feel like a normal person again after trying product after product for this DVT. Thank you Jomi compression.

Had a little bit of trouble with the initial pair (defects) however Jomi customer service was very quick to remedy the situation and promptly sent on a replacement pair.The compression on the garments work well. The silicon band can roll but if you slightly turn the top of the band it helps ti prevent the top from rolling. If you've picked the right size as I did (large, I'm 6'1 and 210) it should never roll down.The material is kinda strange, different then previous tried pairs (jobst and a few other off brands) but it breaths well. For the price, you cant beat it. I had used jobst up until this year, ar $50 a pair they too costly.

The sizing of these stockings are dreadfully wrong. I meticulously took measurements to ensure I ordered the correct size but these were totally wrong. They were so tight and uncomfortable, it was like having a tourniquet around my legs!

I purchased these for an upcoming echoschelorothepy appts that I have just had, I also have a Sigvaris one. these are terrible quality compared to sigvaris, they do not stay up well and just roll down, washing them is ok but the band is not holding up well at all and there are some holes appearing in the mesh. not comfortable I am currently wearing a sigvaris one on my one leg and a Jomi one on the other, no comparison. I would like to return but apparently it is too late so I have to suck it up. Spend the extra money and skip this brand.
