The Gruffalo

Fun, Smart, Well-Written, and Has a Great Message/LessonI've read my 19-month-old daughter 2-5 books a day and this one was by far one of her favorites. She has become a fan of longer, more complex stories and the Gruffalo has become a wonderfully fun, smart, well-written, and well-loved addition to our book collection alongside Pete the Cat! My daughter requests this over and over again...which is great because every re-reading or re-telling is rich and vibrant, with a great message and lesson at the end as well as fun little easter eggs to find on every page. Very fun, would buy this again!

This is a fun book! Creative story and nice art. I use it for students in different classes, and they love it every time! I usually read it to grades K-2.

This is the best book ever. Colorful pages, rhyming words, great story. My 4 year old granddaughter and 22 month old grandson love it.

Love this! One of my favorite books, I ordered it for a baby shower. I'm very pleased that it was not abridged to be able to make it a board book. It'll be very loved (use character voices when you read it).

Came across this book after I'd driven myself absolutely crazy reading the same books to my toddlers over and over, and it was such a pleasant surprise. Such a cute story, and they like when I do all the different voices for the different characters. Definitely my favorite book of the many in my toddlers' collection. Just buy it!
