UPDATE: After I wrote my 2-star review (see below) I got contacted by the seller who was willing to send me a free replacement. Since they didn't have my exact diffuser anymore, I was given the choice to choose from two different, but similar ones. I chose one and it arrived about a week later. This was a few days ago. So far the new diffuser works great, as intended. I am cautiously optimistic though because my first diffuser started melting after 14 days and sputtering water and making a big mess after three weeks.So the new diffuser has been getting a couple of days of nonstop daily use now and it works great so far.So for now I am changing my review to 5 stars because of two things:- customer service - they contacted me and wanted to make things right, and had excellent communication with me, and most importantly,- this diffuser so far works as intended. If it will act up again, I will post a second update. Let's hope I don't need to!-------ORIGINAL REVIEW:Got this very cute diffuser three weeks ago. Bought another one but the other one is a small 100ml portable one that has a USB plug (for automobile use). So I had two diffusers to compare.Well, this one looks pretty, kinda like a vase that changes colors. Very cute. However!!!!! I have used both at the same time (this large one, and the little USB one) and the little one lasts longer (all day, like 8 hours or so), while this one shuts down after about 5-6 hours when the water+oil run out. The "smoke" that comes out falls down pretty quickly and makes everything around the diffuser wet. As in, can warp wooden furniture wet!! So be careful to set some good thick cloth under it, or put it on something you don't care about.About 1.5 weeks after purchase I noticed that it was damaged. This isn't really stained glass but glass in this shape and then a "skin" (acrylic maybe?) pulled over it. And this skin started to warp (see photo) in a couple places. So right now, I am not very happy because the diffuser wasn't cheap. While this thing is cute to look at, especially while it changes its color or shows a solid color, I am waiting for more of the "skin" to peel, making it ugly and cheap looking, or damaging more of my furniture. This is a humidifier after all too, so use with caution.As far as scent goes, well, that of course depends on what substances (essential oils) you mix with water and if those substances are true and pure or knock-offs.

Is so beautiful I get complements from everyone in my office! I can actually smell the oil! I love it!

Beautiful but has strange odor(can’t smell essential oil just fowl odor), I will clean with vinegar and hopefully it will smell better.

I ordered this item knowing that it’s perfect for my bedroom but when we tried to fill it in with water IT WAS BROKEN so it leek water through the container I wish I’d save the box

Didn't even last a year. The button does not work any more and the warranty was only good for 60 days. Will nkt buy from this company again.

Omg. This is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. It’s so cute and I love the different lights!! Amazing. And holds a good amount of water too.
